2022 CPF Balance 820K!

This year 2022, received total interest of around 29k from Ah Gong for both myself and wife CPF account. 

We didn't topup SA and MA this year, as we getting better interest for SRS and TBill. I think putting in SRS and TBill seems better deal since is more liquid.

Total CPF amount as at 2022 - 820K for both our CPF account! 

Are we on track to hit the 1 million target for retirement at age 48?

Why I invest in Wilmar?

Found this counter few years back after doing some research, below are the reasoning on why I invest in this stock:

• Profit increasing year on year
• DPU also increased for the past few years
• P/B around 1 which I think is at fair value 
• Inflation on the rise, which benefited Wilmar
• CPO price at all time high 
• Listing of China (Yihai Kerry Arawana) and India (Adani Wilmar) Subsidiaries received good responses and their share price is much higher than the IPO price.
• Russia and Ukraine war causing sunflower oil shortage which will increase demand of palm oil.
• Business expansion to other countries, ie. Pakistan etc. 

Vested around $4.2+. Target price at least $5+

2021 CPF balance and target to hit 1 million by age 48

Every year January, I always looking forward to receive both me and my wife CPF statement..... to see how much interest government pay us hehehe. 

So this year 2021 Ah Gong paid us total interest of around 28k for both our CPF account. Thank you Ah Gong!!!

For the past 15 years, I have consistently topup both of our CPF SA account to the max of 7k each per year. 

Sadly I can't topup my SA account anymore for the last 5 years due to the FRS cap, but my wife still have some buffer for me to continue to topup her SA account.

Total CPF amount as at 2021 around ~600k for me and ~200k for my wife. 

Ok I guess I still need to work harder to hit the 1 million target for retirement. 

We are targeting to hit this wonderful amount by my age of 48, well less than 5 more years to go.

For all the online talk about 1M65, it is not an impossible mission for individual to retire using CPF.
